I attended graduate school at the Kellogg School of Management with Bridgette. She was impressive back then and has had an even more impressive career. When I was writing my healthcare leadership book, I reached out to Bridgette to see if I could schedule an interview with her. Since she was living in the Netherlands, working for Danone at the time, I sent her the questions in email for her to respond to. Although the book was focused on healthcare leadership, her responses were so insightful that she was one of the most quoted leaders in the book (and she is in this book also). After she retired as President of Danone, she moved back to the states and co-founded a foundation in her mother’s name to improve education outcomes in children in her area.
